Change of Address

When someone has a change of address it usually means the old address is going to be replaced by a new one.

In ViaTour this is accomplished by opening the address detail of the address that is to be replaced, and overriding the old Address line 1, Address line 2, City, ST and Zip with the data. Then reformatting the format and pushing this information to all reservation records.

Steps are:

1. Access the address detail form by clicking on the envelop icon on the Traveler form- Address tab.

2. Verifying that all travelers linked to the old address should be linked to the new address.

(a)  If yes, change the data in Address line 1, Address line 2, City, ST and Zip and click the format address button. 
(b)  Change data in date fields, notes and mailing lists as necessary,
(c)  Review the reservations linked to the address record, and update the reservations accordingly. 
  
(Note - beacuse you will not be pulling reservation addresses reports for past tours - updating these is just to avoid confusion if you look at the record.  You are only updating "formatted fields" - salutation, format address and priaddressee)
