Travel Info for a Traveler, Field Definitions

1. Name on Passport: use the copy button to build the name from travelers First Middle and Last Name. You may override this if the Traveler's name is not the same as the name on his/her passport.
2. Birth date: Enter the date of birth with a 4-digit year. If you do not a have a DOB enter an estimate with the number appearing first, such as "35 or so." This will now display in the age field 35*, where the asterisk tells user this age is an estimate age, not calculated from DOB.
3. Birth Place: Enter the City, State and Country
4. Citizenship: Enter the country or countries of citizenship
5. Passport information: Enter the complete passport number, dates of issuance and place of issue. Note the field "Passport Info as of XXX" is populated automatically.
6. Father's name and Mother's maiden name are required for entry in to some countries, as is "Been to Iran."
7. Mileage numbers: enter any airline mileage account numbers here.
8. Enter air travel preferences such as preferred Departure City, Seat preference, special meal requests and whether traveler is a smoker.
9. Past Traveler: ViaTour automatically marks this box true when a tour is "closed." However you are given the option to override this. (See "Automark Past Travelers")
10. Tour History: All tours with which the traveler has been associated (i.e.- has a reservation status: interested, wait listed, canceled, to confirmed) will be listed here. You may take a short cut to the reservation by double-clicking on the tour name. The order that the res status is displayed is the sort order form code table for res status. If no sort order is specified, sort is alphabetical.
