Creating Confirmation Letter from the Reservation Form
A button on the bottom of the Reservation form allows you to create an automatic confirmation letter.
The Confirmation letter is available only when the current traveler is paying for the reservation.
After you preview the letter from the main menu you can select the print from the File menu.
Workaround: If you wish to send a letter to someone who is paid for by someone else, you need to re-set the bill to field and run the letter. However, if your custom letter relies on data on the payment history tab (like a deposit), you will need to create that transaction and then delete it for the letter to print correctly.
When you click the Confirmation letter button, a Letter Note form appears that allows you to type optional specific text or add in stock phrases.
These notes can be as long as you wish and appear in the predefined location of the confirmation letter. The form also requires you select your name from drop down list under "letter from".
