Running Special Update Queries
From time to time clients request that ViaTour's developers provide special update queries.
An update query acts on your data and makes permanent changes to it.
Do not run a query unless you are comfortable with the procedure.
These notes are provided as reminders for our clients who are comfortable with using queries:
1. Open System Maintenance
2. Select Run Special Queries
3. Use the yellow locater box to find the ACTIOn or name of your query, or scroll through the records.
4. Select the query (Record goes black and arrow white.)
5. Click on the explanation point
6. The Notes field will store information about the action: Last run 1/28/2005 11:25:06 AM, 50 recs modified
6. Close the forms to retrun to main menu.
