Tour Net Profit (calculated or not)

Use the Tour Net Profit Field to store net profit.

You can type in a number or use the "Calculate from Financials" button to get a live calculation.

If you are not using transactions in ViaTour, you can still track net profit.

Just type your net profit in here and refer to the report: Tour Net Profit (from Net Profit Field).

This report shows: Tour Id, Tour name, Start and End date, if tour was Cancelled, if Finances have closed, and the tour "net profit" to date from the "Net Profit" field on the Tour Info form (e.g. not based on "live" transactions)

Other financial reports that display a profit based on financials to date are all labeled clearly.

NOTE: if you are using financials this field is a bit meaningless when populated before you close a tour. Why? This field stays "static" though additional transactions may be added. Therefore, users need to recalculate if a tour is "opened" in order to additional expenditures or income.
