Canceling a Reservation

When you can cancel a reservation you simply change the status on the Reservation Form. ViaTour strongly recommend you also so yes to the two messages about storing the previous status in status notes and replacing the reservation status date with today. This allows are status reports to pick up changes in reservation status by date.

Step 1- locate reservation ro cancel

Change Components zero out balance due and add cancellation penalty, if applicable)


Step 7- Issue refund on Transaction if applicable.

Process appropriate reports:
-alert the tour operator if applicable (tour operator update report) 
-send a Cancellation Letter.
