Auto create an External Traveler ID

ViaTour allows users to set the system so when new travelers are added, the External Id field can be populated with a unique ID that is exposed.
This setting is useful if you need to provide clients or vendors outside the system with an id for this traveler. If you are using the external ID field to store a membership number, then this is not necessary.
We can customize a formula for you or you can use ViaTour's default formula for the ID.
Note: ViaTour only generates the ID and populates the field. There is no code in place to prevent changes by users; nor does ViaTour "update" the ID based on changes to fields from which it was created.
