Marketing with Address Label Reports
ViaTour has two type of Address Label Reports:
Traveler Address Labels
Reservation Address Labels
Traveler Labels use the formatted address on the Address record Form.
Reservation Address Labels use the formatted address on the Reservation Form.
All address labels can be exported to excel.
Some mail houses have difficulty working with the formatted cell, so when ViaTour exports to Excel, it exports a column of "Formatted Address" (One address is in each cell with line breaks) and it exports a column for Primary Addressee, Address Line 1, Address2, City, St and Zip.
Criteria Options:
Traveler Addresses can be assigned to a mailing list, as well as start and end exact or seasonal dates. Additionally, you can use all the criteria on the Traveler Tab to narrow down your list:
City/State/Zip
Referral Source
Added to mail list between x date and y date
Added to ViaTour between x date and y date
Descriptors/Interests
Past Traveler (yes/no/all)
Red Flag (yes/no/all)
Note: for all address label reports Deceased = N0 is the default setting.
When you select options it is an "OR" with in a field and an "AND" between fields.
For example: if Art and History are selected in Descriptors/Interests and CA is selected as the State, the results are California addresses with an interest in Art or History.
Reservation Labels allow you to market by res status, such as "brochure requests" for a certain tour or, more generally, for tours that meet certain criteria (type/date range/descriptor).
You may not be interested in stale or older inquiries so you may decide to filter by "res status date".
